Summary: The cottage location was great as only a short drive for us. Near enough to the village but far enough away for privacy. Two issues with the cottage that impact the rating are the bathroom door does not shut without being slammed - it needs to be sanded and rehung. This is a major thing as we had to use a piece of duct tape to hold the door shut for privacy. Second thing is the air conditioner blasts the cold air into the stairwell going to second floor so the rest of the house gets minimal cooling but the stairwell and the bathroom are very cold.
