The Neighborhood
Enjoy South Park, one of San Diego's most historic and fun neighborhoods. Just one block away from all of the shops and restaurants, two blocks from Balboa Park, and a great neighborhood Target with all your food and essentials. Be the first to stay in this newly renovated apartment with two bedrooms, full kitchen, laundry, living room, and 65in Smart TV. You're just a mile from the San Diego Zoo, Convention Center, Downtown, Little Italy, and all that Balboa Park has to offer.
The Space
This is a newly-renovated apartment in the upstairs of a victorian house built in 1907. It has its own outside entrance by way of the staircase on the side of the building. The outside space has a view of the village, palm trees, and the mountains.
Once inside, the living room is a great place to talk, play games, or watch TV. The spacious kitchen has all-new appliances, gas range, cabinets, and quartz countertops. The kitchen also includes a washer/dryer for your convenience.
There are two bedrooms as you go towards the back of the apartment, both with queen-size beds. The bedroom father back has an additional dresser if you are traveling with more clothes, and a small view of the California tower and botanical gardens in Balboa Park. If you look closely, you can catch a little bit of the Coronado bay bridge as well.
The house just received new insulation, so the summers stay cool inside and the winters stay warm easily.
One thing to note: the bathroom is located off of the second bedroom. If you are staying in the first bedroom, you will have to walk through the second bedroom to use the bathroom. It is less than perfect, but good to know in advance.
