Hideaway Cottage is a recently renovated Bermuda cottage in a garden setting with overland views. It is located at the end of a quiet lane, approximately 100 yards from the Bermuda Railway Trail. It is conveniently located close to Middle Road with access to Bus Stops (5 Minutes walk) and a major Supermarket (10 minutes walk). It is also within easy reach of the Darrell's Wharf ferry stop and Bermuda's newest public beach at Southlands (15-20 minutes walk), several restaurants and a golf course.
The cottage has been renovated to a high standard with all new appliances and virtually all new furnishings and fittings. Bedrooms have plenty of storage and windows are equipped with shutters outside and blackout blinds inside. The twin beds in the second bedroom can be configured as a king if required. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a basement laundry room with a large capacity washer and a large capacity dryer - also ironing facilities.
The cottage has it's own patio with outdoor furniture and gas BBQ grill. There is a separate entrance to the cottage and there is parking space for scooters and charge points for all types of electric cars to provide overnight charging at no additional cost.
There is snorkeling gear available - masks & snorkels, flippers - as well as plenty of beach towels. There are two mountain bikes and helmets available for guest use.

Summary: We had a fantastic time. The property is well located, close to transport routes and amenities. Check in process was easy and Elaine & Richard arranged our transport from the airport. We arrived fairly late in the evening so the supermarkets were closed, but Elaine took us to the store the following morning, which was greatly appreciated. There were also some starter groceries in the house when we arrived, which was very useful, as well as some bus tickets to get us going on transport. House was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay, couldn't fault it at all. Bermuda is a beautiful place and we very much hope to be back again in the future, hopefully, this house will still be available when we do.
