This 7,750 square foot Custom Swedish Cope Caribou Creek Waterfront log cabin is excellent for multiple families, corporate retreats or any big group! Water progresses into the river like a zero entry pool so young kids can walk in and not be fully submerged! We have a 20’ water trampoline with a slide and a bouncer pad to bounce your family into the water!
The entire home was remodeled in 2020 with a 3500 sq addition also added in 2021.
Walk into a open floor plan with full kitchen, dining, living room and extra family room all in one. Kitchen has Z-line 6 burner gas range w/griddle, 2 Bosch Dishwashers, 2 kitchen sinks, 2 microwaves and a double door Sub Zero Fridge. Table seating in the dining room for 10, and bar seating for 8. Living room has 2 couches and 1 recliner. Extra seating in front of windows facing water. Entire home has quartz counter tops with live edge, new custom hickory cabinets, electric remote controlled black out blinds.
To the right on the main level are 2 private queen bedrooms with a shared full shower/tub combo full bathroom, single sink. Each bedroom has its own climate controlled furnace so everyone picks their own temps!
Above the open floor plan living room is the bunk loft that houses 3 twin over queen bunk beds. Walk through the dining room to the family room and upstairs is a private queen bedroom with windows overlooking the water from one direction and the forest from the other. The main body of the home also has 1 full size bathroom with walk in shower/double sinks and one full size bathroom with a garden tub, walk in shower and 3 sinks. There is a main laundry room on this side of the home.
Walk through the family room to the master retreat on the lower level with a gas fireplace, living area in the bedroom, king size bed with amazing views of the Pend Oreille. The master bath features a 2 person walk in shower, soaking Hydro Tub and double sinks. One walk in closet available for use and an additional laundry room off of this closet.
Upstairs you’ll find 2 more private bedrooms each with a queen bed and sky lights, laundry chute and a private bath with double sinks and a walk in shower. There is also a sitting room located upstairs. Each room of the house is on a separate furnace so the downstairs temps can be different from upstairs. Entire Home is air conditioned and heated, also has electric remote controlled blinds and ceiling fans. Home has high speed wireless internet and every Tv is a smart Tv and connected to the DISH Network.
Walk down the hallway behind the masters quarters and they cross a bridge with a Water pathway flowing beneath it, to the party pavilion! The pavilion has an outdoor kitchen area with a gas grill, sink, outdoor shower, surround sound and outdoor refrigerator. The main feature of the party pavilion is the 20‘ x 8‘ dual heater double sided swim spa. We keep the larger side of the swim spa a little cooler than the hot tub side but the temperatures can be adjusted at the steps. The depth of the swim spa is just under 4’.
This home features over 3500 feet an outdoor living space and covered decks, in total over 11,000 of fun!

Half of the front yard is green grass with a playset and trampoline. The other half is a white sandy beach made with US Olympic volleyball sand providing zero entry into the water. The dock is only about 4.5’ deep so this home is perfect for kids to swim.
We offer kayaks, a paddle boat, floatables and life jackets to play in the river or use in the swim spa.
Behind the big shop is a custom made cedar double treehouse connecting 2 sections by a bridge in the trees! Each treehouse has a slide and chalkboard walls, the bridge has monkey bars and a fireman’s pole. The area is well lit for nighttime use.
We have 2 RV electrical hook ups available for use. The entire property is on a 60 KVA generator so you will never be without power.
Plenty of parking for multiple cars and boat trailers.
Closest boat dock is 2.5 miles from the home at Morton Slough at the intersection of Lakeshore and Dufort Rd. This is a very nice launch and very accessible. It's just a few minutes by boat.
From the home you can take a boat ride to downtown Sandpoint to the public boat dock which has great boat parking. This dock puts you right in downtown Sandpoint for a short walk to all local restaurants and shopping.
You can also take a short boat ride to Dover or Willow Bay for lunch or dinner or fill up your boat. The float plane in Dover is always a hit! The river has the best water for boarding or skiing as it is a lot less choppy than the lake. The home sits on a cove so young kids are able to swim freely without having to worry about boat traffic or current.
This is a full custom Swedish cope log home built by Caribou Creek and log walls in every room. We offer a concierge service to have groceries, alcohol, pizza, etc dropped off right at the home. The property manager makes 1 trip to the home each morning to water plants, take the trash and answer any questions you might have. We are seasoned VRBO owners. This is our 4th rental and we have always had excellent reviews. We rented this home during 2018-2020 before our addition and remodel so the current reviews are from the home as it sat before all of the upgrades!
