Positive: This is a good small hotel for an overnight or short trip. It's mostly 'unstaffed', we didn't see any staff at all during check-in, breakfast, or when we left, it's slightly odd but somehow it all worked anyway and I guess this helps them to keep costs lower. We were sent a door code for the front door before arrival (via the booking.com messaging and email), and our door cards were in an envelope in the foyer. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and nicely designed. There's a thoughtfully provided shared kitchenette room at the end of the corridor, which has a large fridge freezer which was super useful for us, also a small hob and a kettle, along with a table and chairs, so we could make our sandwiches for lunch much easier - it's a simple idea but really really good! Breakfast was again self-service, simple buffet items left out ready or in a large fridge, and a surprising amount of choice. It was all clean and tidy. On check-out, we just left the keys in a box in the foyer, again, no staff present or needed! Parking was available right by the entrance, and there were also 2 EV chargers around the back of the hotel which was useful. Hova is a sleepy small town, not too much there, but there's a supermarket with enough range of things to get by.
Negative: Bedrooms were a bit hot overnight, but the windows open so that helped. The breakfast room was also surprisingly warm even first thing in the morning. The EV chargers were really useful, but they're quite hard to find around the back of the hotel without much signage, and it wasn't really clear whether they were for the hotel or the neighbouring office. It's also an unlit hidden away area so didn't feel as safe as the front of the hotel. There were no instructions how to use them either, we eventually figured out we had to download and register the "Assemblin" app. It worked eventually, and was fairly priced, but it would have been so much better if they were at the front of the hotel, well signed, with information on how to use them.
