Bubali Luxury Apartments is a unique retreat on Aruba, with very spacious and luxurious accommodations. Our objective is to make you feel comfortable and provide you with the best service possible. We want you to have a wonderful stay with us.
The beautiful property is focused on providing an eco-friendly environment, as well as wheelchair easy access. This type of facility is scarce around the island.
We have 4 very comfortable apartments of which 2 are recently renovated and the other 2 are newly built. All of them are equipped with new furniture and modern facilities. Peace and quiet is certain as our property is limited to adults only.
The apartments are located on the north side of Aruba, in a quiet residential area called Bubali. We are right next to the dynamic Palm Beach district of mainstream hotels, restaurants and a stone’s throw away from the beautiful white Eagle Beach.
Enjoy the beautiful weather using our comfortable sun beds on the edge of the swimming pool right outside your apartment. Because we run a small scale operation, you don’t need to worry about finding a good spot; there will always be a place for you in the sun or in the shade.
Beach lovers have the world renowned Eagle Beach with its pristine sand and clear waters only 800 meters away. Nightlife, shopping malls and the best restaurants are just 1 km from your apartment. But if you want to stay in, our apartments are equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal and as for groceries, just go to the Super Food Plaza that is simply 200 meters away.
Bubali Luxury Apartments are located 15 min from downtown Oranjestad and 20 minutes away from the airport.
One of our 4-person apartments is wheelchair friendly for the physically impaired.
All spaces can be reached by wheelchair, this includes the swimming pool which has a special ramp for wheelchairs (under supervision), as well as the pool shower.
The toilet, shower and washbasin are adjusted. There is a high/low bed as well as rising lift available. Furthermore we have 2 wheelchairs and one beach wheelchair available.
All doors are extra wide to suit wheelchairs and there are no steps or stairs.
This apartment is spacious enough for easy maneuvering.
There is a personal pick-up and return service to the airport. We have a special car suitable for the transport of wheelchairs
Bubali Luxury Apartments’ objectives are similar to the policies set by the Government of Aruba; we want to save energy and water and therefore we use renewable resources as much as possible whilst protecting the environment.
We have solar panels that generate electricity during the day. That energy is stored in batteries for its consumption overnight. This system is currently under development. We also have solar boilers to create hot water. It is our target to be energy neutral in one year. All the light fixtures have energy efficient “LED” bulbs.
A new, modern design septic tank has been placed to manage waste water more efficiently.
Furthermore, there is a Biokube that treats all the waste water in a biological way. This treated water is re-used for the flushing the toilets, spraying the plants and the washing machines.
All electrical appliances, such as the air-conditioning units, the fridges, the freezers, the TV’s etc. are all based on energy saving inverter technology resulting in the highest possible energy efficiency.
The roofs are fully isolated and all windows are double glass, which saves energy by keeping the living space cool.

Summary: We always go to St. Maarten over Christmas but, sadly, St. Maarten as we knew it is no more. This was our first trip to Aruba. Our expectations were exceeded. The beaches and weather are beautiful. So many great restaurants. Bubali Luxury Apartments also exceeded expectations. The pictures and description are precisely accurate, no tricks. Only 4 very clean, very European units in the walled compound. So never a race for lounge chairs at the lovely pool. Had it to ourselves whenever we used it. The compound is very secure. The units have everything you'll need, even beach chairs, floats and a cooler for the beach. Well furnished full kitchen. Very good mattresses. We found champagne and chocolates waiting for us when we arrived, as well as cold beverages and snacks. This was a signal that the owners would be gracious hosts, and they were. The owners, Aryen (A.J.) and Esther, could not have been more welcoming or helpful. They are a lovely young couple who take pride in their apartments and in making their guests comfortable. Esther picked us up at the airport and took us back when it was time to go. We felt like friends very quickly. And they really do include a car for your stay, again no tricks. The location turned out to be very convenient. Within walking distance is a wonderful restaurant, Quinta del Carmen, the best supermarket on the island, and a few smaller convenience stores. It's possible to walk to the beach in probably 15 or 20 minutes minutes but since we had a car we drove. It's a 5 minute drive and there is plenty of parking at the beach. Terrific beach - great for families, not crowded and lots of shade trees if you like. Our routine was to spend the afternoon at the beach, then return, make drinks and relax at the pool. What could be better?
