Summary: I did not have high expectations. I had a surprisingly good night's rest considering the age and condition of the mattress. Our room (209) had a lot of character from the wood paneling, small size, and background sounds of a neighboring television and amorous couple. Achievement unlocked for staying in a seedy American motel for a rendezvous with a lover. Pro-tip: brining your own candles and Bluetooth speaker greatly enhances the atmosphere. The candle light reflecting off the wood paneling is pretty sweet.
