Explore Holy Island’s history and coastal walks, and taste the famous local mead (11.5 miles), visit Berwick’s Paxton House (18 miles) and cross the border to Eyemouth Beach (24 miles).
This impeccable and spacious detached bungalow is beautifully appointed throughout and offers comfort and style for anyone wishing to explore the nearby Northumberland Coast and national park. Five stone steps lead from the driveway to the front door. Enter via the porch where you can hang your coats and store your walking boots. Head through the glazed door into the welcoming lounge with a large, comfortable sofa and three easy chairs to relax on after your day’s activities. There is a Smart TV so you can enjoy a family movie night, an electric wood burner-effect fire and a wonderful view from the lounge window over the neighbouring countryside to the coast at Budle Bay. The wide hallway leads to the open-plan kitchen/diner with more sea views and French doors that open to the rear garden, perfect for relaxing outside in the warmer months. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything the family cook might need to prepare a wide range of meals and drinks. The dining table seats six comfortably for sociable mealtimes, and there is an easy chair next to the French doors where you can sit and relax with a good book.
