Summary: Know before you go….
1. The bar isn’t a bar. Only a few choices of beer
2. Wagons don’t have linens. Bring your own or rent from them. Pillows are a variety of old and nasty.
3. Bath houses are disgusting (mostly because of fellow travelers).
4. Views are wonderful.
5. Daily horse stampede is pretty cool.
Expectation management is needed…the wagons are primitive accommodations. Pretty much a bed to sleep in. This is a working ranch so expect that. Breakfast is good and coffee is really good.

Summary: The experience could have been really neat. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. One of the ranchers was extremely rude and let me know right away that they were struggling with bedbugs. Awesome. This was something I was really looking forward to and it was a huge let down. They have three bathrooms for a lot of people. If someone is taking a shower it’s a 20-30 minutes wait. I don’t think I’d recommend.

Summary: Area was a bit rough as grasses around units weren’t cut or mowed. Our area around our tepee had dog poop around our sitting area and on trail to our second tepee and the tepee we’re together. Trails to river were not the best and food at the ranch was ok but had no real options for gluten free or vegan

Summary: Good thing is when we asked, somebody brought us an extra blanket. I originally brought some bed sheets/pillow cases, but still we decided to pay the $22 for a package of such. Blanket is thin. For the night low @43F, we used double layers to keep warm. None of the 3 beds were solid, the frame/box and mattress didn't well set. Our tippie looks worn out over its time.

Summary: I would question staying at this place. Unique experience, yes… we stayed in a wagon. The beds are uncomfortable, noisy from other travelers. Staff uses a quad runner, constantly running around, loud and late at night. Went to get some food from their Cafe, staff didn’t even acknowledge us. Left after 10 minutes. We left early and never looked back.

Summary: The wagon experience was unique, but it was cold the night we stayed there, and even with the blankets, we were very cold. We were not informed that there was an additional fee to receive sheets and blankets. They waived that fee, but it appears that nothing had been cleaned or washed very well because there were lots of hairs on the sheets, and the pillows were stained. There was also not enough parking for the 4 wagons at the top of the property. There was enough space for maybe 3 cars to park for the 4 wagons there. The bathrooms were relatively clean (didn’t smell), but there was a leak from one sink, which caused a lot of water on the floor, making it muddier than need be.

Summary: This property was not as advertised. No platform under the Teepee. Our floor was dirt and weeds. I was informed at checkin that I had to pay an additional $22 for bedding. The beds were about 3 inches off the ground with a 2 inch vinyl mattress on top
