This retro styled three-bedroom house has a comfortable lounge, TV with streaming services, fast wifi (starlink), a functional kitchen, bbq, quality linen and mattresses, a large backyard with a picnic table and books, boards and toys.
Linen and towels are provided. Beach gear (buckets, spades, flippers and mask/snorkel) also provided.
Walkerville is a small community located along the western coastline of Waratah Bay and a short drive from the neighbouring coastal towns of Waratah Bay and Sandy Point. It is a comfortable drive from Wilsons Promontory National Park and surrounding attractions.
Walkerville has developed into a destination for those seeking a quiet, relaxing holiday. There are good views of the mountain ranges at Wilsons Promontory from the safe swimming beaches and scenic fishing spots which front Waratah Bay and there are several interesting rock formations just off the coast, including Arch Rock and Bird Rock. There's lots of wildlife with koalas sighted close to the house, many bird species and echidnas.
Walkerville North and Walkerville South are linked by an 800 metre walking track called the Limeburners Walk which traverses the cliff tops and offers spectacular views along the pristine coastline. Alternatively, walking between the two road endpoints can be done along the sandy beach (at low tide) with its characteristic rock formations and native bush backdrop.
The Walkerville Kiosk, operating through the summer season is great for fish and chips, ice creams and coffee. Tarwin Lower (20 min) or Foster (30 mins) provide all of your amenities with an IGA, petrol stations, pub, and cafes. Venus Bay has additional amenities also.
