Pipi's on the Beach offer three generous, well appointed two bedroom apartments in an excellent central location with views across Main Beach to the ocean. Pipis apartment 2 is the middle apartment.
Furnished with a Byron flare, Pipi's are ideal apartments for family or friends wanting a beach holiday with all the convenience of town right on your doorstep. Each apartment features air conditioning, polished timber floors, fully equipped kitchens with open plan living and dining. The living area flows out onto a large balcony with partial views of the Bay.
Pipi's is ideal for discovering the culinary delights of Byron with a selection of delicious restaurants directly downstairs from your accommodation.
A short walk across the street will find you on the golden sands of Main Beach, or a one minute stroll will get you into the centre of Byron.

Summary: ** NOTE: This review is for Pipis 1, not Pipis 2 ** The unit is very nice, right across from the main beach, and convenient to everything in town. The soaring ceilings make the space feel open and spacious. The retracting balcony doors let you integrate the large balcony with table, chairs, and umbrella with the indoor space. The mattresses were in good shape and supportive, and looked new. We very much appreciated that small quantities of supplies such as laundry detergent and dishwashing detergent are provided, so we didn't have to buy our own large supply to wash one load of clothes. There are ample shelves in both bedrooms, which is quite convenient for unpacking. One thing that isn't there that would be nice is ice trays since there is no ice maker in the freezer. Without an ice maker or ice trays we had no way of making our own ice for cold drinks. The management company requires the dishwasher to be run and dishes put away before leaving. This is unusual in our experience. Other properties require that the dishes be loaded and the dishwasher started so the cleaning company can put them away after checkout. The policy that it has to be finished and put away before leaving means you'll have to get up very early for breakfast as you must finish eating, drinking, and start the dishwasher over two hours (almost three for a full load) before you leave. One other issue that didn't cause a problem for us but potentially could is that there is an auto-locking gate after the first flight of stairs from the street, with no key provided. Several times this was closed (and thus locked) when we left in the morning. If this gate were to be closed while we were out, we'd have no way to get in. Perhaps a sign on the inside of the gate saying to not close it, or provide a key (ideally labelled) for the gate. Overall, we enjoyed the Pipis 1 accommodation and the great location and would happily stay there again.
