Enjoying a quieter location, this lodge has spectacular views of the surrounding fells making the Troutbeck Valley. Pheasant's Nest Lodge is just a short walk to the onsite pub, which even has a dedicated area for you to sit with your four-legged friend. Stepping inside the lodge you can make your way into the beautiful and tastefully decorated open plan living/dining/kitchen. This space is perfect for the whole family to socialise and play games or enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. Down the hall, you will find two snug bedrooms and a family shower room. Head outside onto the large decking area with outdoor seating where you can enjoy the marvellous views on a summer evening after a long day exploring the Lake District. Your lodge at Limefitt is surrounded by the Troutbeck valley and towering above High Street and the Kirkstone Pass. Here you'll enjoy nature and lovely views, and the Trout Beck running through the park. There's a dog-friendly pub on site, a small shop and children's playground, children's playground and nearby you can enjoy pony-trekking with a third party provider. From here you can walk through the fields to the fabulous pub The Queens Head, and round the corner to the Mortal Man, both traditional old pubs with log fires and a warm welcome.
The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey.
