Summary: Perfect beach house! Right on the beach, beautiful pool and gardens. Very clean. Room for many people. Air conditioning in bedrooms worked very well, living areas didn’t need it as the ocean breeze came through the house. There are caretakers onsite, it helps to understand some Spanish to communicate with them. They were very friendly and helpful! The owner was extremely easy to communicate with. We didn’t have any problems while there. The beach town is quiet, not overcrowded at all. We easily walked down the beach path to restaurants every night. Our favorite was Roberto’s. My elderly mother was able to walk as well, the path is flat. There are some rocks here and there, but easy for an older person who can’t walk well. Amazing snorkeling at the ends of the beach by the rocks. We saw amazing animals everyday! Iguanas, dragon flies, fish of all kinds, jumping rays, monkeys. Also, the Costa Rican people are very warm and friendly. Don’t miss Tio Leo’s Coffee tour that is about 30 minute drive away. They do an amazing job, and we learned a lot about coffee, chocolate, sugar cane, and Guanacaste in general. Wonderful people there.
