One of the most suggestive places in the Gulf of Oristano, the central-western part of Sardinia: brightly coloured all year round, with a crystal clear sea and breath-taking panoramas wherever you look and scenic coves.
Once a fishing village, today this is a well-known seaside resort. San Giovanni, a village in Cabras to the south of the Sinis peninsula within the protected marine area, is located along the road leading to the ancient town of Tharros and, further south, the scenic Capo San Marco. The beach extends for around two kilometres, from the Phoenician-Punic (later Roman) colony to FuntanaMeiga, with a car park including space for campers. It overlooks a crystal clear sea with a seabed rich in sea life, a paradise for diving, snorkelling and underwater fishing. Constant winds also make this a destination for surfers.
Along the 30 kilometres of protected coastline, which also includes Mal di Ventre Island, the famous beaches of super-fine quartz sand known as Is Arutas, Maimoni and Mari Ermi slope into the turquoise sea,Along the road towards Is Arutas, add a different touch to your holiday by passing through San Salvatore di Sinis, with its Wild West scenery and the location for the Corsa degli Scalzi procession. The position of the house is facing the sea, right at the height of the small beach, about halfway along the seafront. In the front part the house has a habitable veranda of approximately 50 square meters overlooking the sea. From the veranda you enter the finely furnished living room with TV and from one side of the living room you enter the double bedroom facing the sea, with a very beautiful view. Also from the living room you enter the second double bedroom with two single beds overlooking the internal courtyard, from the corridor you enter the bathroom with toilet, bidet and shower, it should be underlined that there is a small bathtub and is accessed by climbing over a 40 cm wall. The corridor also leads to a comfortable, well-organised, modern kitchen, with hob, oven, large fridge, dishwasher and a large fridge. The kitchen is full of objects, as is the living room, which are finds from the old San Giovanni and Cabras, such as work tools from the past and very varied and curious furnishing accessories always linked to the history and tradition of the place. From the kitchen there is access to the veranda of the back courtyard, the veranda is habitable with table, chairs and washing machine. In the courtyard there are also comfortable deckchairs and a corner with an outdoor shower, the courtyard is completely closed so there is maximum privacy.
