Summary:
Treat yourself to a little parcel of rainforest for your stay in the tropics. This accommodation has been recently purpose built for holiday makers, wishing to spend time exploring the rainforest and nearby swimming holes.
The Space:
The accommodation is located in the lower part of a large duplex property. There is a large open plan living and kitchen area, fitted out with brand new furniture and appliances. There are three generous bedrooms with walk in wardrobes, two with queen beds and a twin bedroom. The bedrooms are serviced by a modern bathroom with new fixtures and fittings. Outside, you have a large sheltered patio area. for enjoying tropical evenings, with a large sociable dining table, BBQ and firepit.
Guest Access:
Check in is available until 10pm.
The downstairs part of the duplex is it's own, self contained accommodation, and you will have private use of this space during your stay. The owners of the property live upstairs with their family.
The Neighborhood:
Redlynch Valley is located along Freshwater creek, which compliments the area with an abundance of swimming holes. Crystal Cascades is the most well known, which is a 5 minute drive from the accomodation, here you can also find a hidden gem, fairy falls with less tourists and a little secret waterfall. 'The rocks' is also just 5 minutes away, which also has a nature walk connecting through to Goomboora park. On top of this you can find many other hidden little swimming holes in the area, generally only known to the local residents. Less than 10 minutes stroll from the property, you will find Cascades Restaurant, serving up a fusion of Indian/Portuguese/Australian cuisine Wednesday to Sunday.
Getting Around:
As this property is located in the Redlynch Valley suburb of Cairns, we recommend a hire car to get around and travel to and from local attractions and tourist spots.
