Positive: You can’t beat the location of this apartment. It is in the heart of Monopoli on a pedestrian-only street but set back and positioned away from the street noise. We loved the convenience and proximity to some of Monopoli’s best food. My son enjoyed buying freshly baked focaccia across the street at Sfornando & Magiando. Our go to pizza place Il Quadrofoglio was the next building. When we opened the master bedroom balcony door, we were excited to see it overlooked our favorite restaurant, Trattoria San Domenico. It is only a 5 min walk to the grocery store Numeri Primi which has a wide selection of decently priced grocery items, located on the west side of Piazza Vittorio Emmanuel II. 15 min walk west to train station and 10 min walk east to Porta Vecchia beach. The unit is gorgeous with high ceilings. There are many skylights throughout to bring in lots of natural light, including the bathroom. The A/C in the bedroom and living room are strong and efficient. The kitchen is very well equipped, including a high end espresso machine and microwave. The cleanliness is immaculate. Towels and bedding smelled fresh and clean. Both bed mattresses were super comfortable and we slept very well. Monica is a very kind and generous host. Our train was significantly delayed and yet she still took the time to meet us at the apartment to introduce herself and show us how everything worked. She was always available and her communication was great. I highly recommend Monica’s apartment and we would stay here again.
Negative: Everything was great. If it had a washing machine it would be even better.
