This grand countryside castle on 4.22 acres s the perfect home for your large family reunion or gathering with friends. Located a 40 minute drive to Seattle or Tacoma, and a 10 minute drive to Shopping, Lakes, Rivers, and Parks. Escape the city with this quirky and charming home, and immerse yourself in the wonderful outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. There are plenty of activities for the whole family to explore in this luscious forest, as well as a beautiful garden to unwind in. The property gets very dark at night allowing breathtaking star gazing opportunities. We have a Christmas tree farm & forest in the back of the property that you can hike. Nature enthusiast? Hiking trails, lakes, and rivers are conveniently located three minutes away from the home, and Lake Wilderness Park is just a 10 minute drive away for those hot summer days. Many of our guests have even seen elk, deer, rabbits, and birds during their stay – you might even run into Bigfoot. The great room in the center is very large to enjoy gatherings and the bedrooms each have their own bathrooms, aside from the loft that has 2 twin beds. Kitchen is well stocked with serving and cooking gear. You will have a crock pot, air fryer, pots and pans, rice cooker, toaster, blender, firepit, and BBQ charcoal grill outside. There is a private working space with a desk in the large enclosed hallway, and a play area with toys as well. Pack and play, baby gate for upper stairs, dog bed, and shower chair available upon request. Laundry is available if needed, but located in the MIL suite. Ask for coordination, if needed.The property owners and caretakers live onsite in a mother in law apartment, but you might only see them in passing outside infrequently, the house in which you rent is completely separate and private with it's own entrance, parking, and large, outdoor enjoyment space in the front with outdoor seating, an umbrella, toys and fire pit.
