Positive: Very well equipped ground floor modernised apartment in a charming old traditional chalet, with uninterrupted view of the Jungfrau. Short walk from Grindelwald Terminal and Grund with a small Co-op and a few restaurants, the centre of Grindelwald is just over 1km but well connected by buses. The owners picked us up late night from station when it was snowing heavily, waited up to show us everything in the accommodation, which had pretty much all the essential you’d need for self catering. We know the region very well having been coming every year for nearly 30 years, so didn’t need much local information, but I’m sure they’d be very happy to help if anyone needed. Chocolate and Prosecco with a little Christmas decoration made it really festive too. Overall a really lovely place to stay, although we’ve only just spend the Christmas ski holiday there, but we can see that it must be lovely all year around for hiking or simply just relaxing.
