2 Bedroom House in Tucson
Enjoy a peaceful stay at this 2-bedroom townhome in East Tucson with views of all 4 of the mountain ranges and quick shopping 5 minutes away. When we first moved to Tucson it was because friends lived here as did our realtor. They have block walls that are finished with stucco and one does not hear the people next door.
The 2 car garage is roomy! In the pictures I backed my big pickup into one side to demonstrate this.
One enters the kitchen and views the living and dining room as well! The kitchen has a large amount of cabinetry stocked with lots of dishes, glassware, utensils, bowls and pots and pans. The dining room has the neatest table....great to eat on with the circular 'Lazy Susan' in the middle, and the little bars that lift up if one is playing games! Turn and view of Living room, other entry hall, and hall to bedrooms and house bath. Both LR and MBR have sliding doors to the covered patio, which has a gate right to the swimming pool. In the past, the pool has not been heated part of the year, but I am hoping the new Management might work with those of us who want it to be a year around pool.
The MBR has lots of built-in storage plus a clothes closet and leads into Master Bath. In between this and guest bedroom is the House bath/shower, washer and dryer & supplies (linens, towels, cleaning, etc.) For the guest BR I have a double bedroom set, again...with lots of storage.
The 49 house complex is entered from Harrison St near 22nd St. and close to all the shopping and dining most people need. Relative to getting out of town to see sights. From Harrison one goes to Houghton w/access to Mt Lemon road, S on Houghtown to Karchner Caverns, etc. There are very impressive things to see all the way in and around Tucson.
Tucson is known for a City of great gastronomy, great entertainment, and great art. I have lived here for 30+ years and have not been to most it offers. For example, a few days ago we passed by the entrance to the 'Miniature Museum' and I commented we must GO! We have the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall where we went last week for the Tucson Symphony. Again, when we first moved here we took our company the the Desert Museum and the Air Museum. Something I have not been to is the Biosphere N of Tucson near Oracle. It has been taken over by the UofA, and I have heard it is great.
