Enjoy this lovely home that includes one queen bed along with a queen futon. Linens and two towels per person are provided. There is a front and back porch for your enjoyment as well as a charcoal grill and fire pit. There is a full stove, microwave oven, and kitchen necessities for you to cook up your fresh catch.

Summary: This cottage was perfect for us and our Golden Retriever. We were able to communicate with the owners quickly and they were quite helpful before and during our stay. The location is right outside of downtown Guntersville, so we were able to get to multiple sites on the lake, to state parks, and other sites with ease. Many places that allow pets look and smell as if they do, but that is definitely not the case with this property. It was so clean, and it smelled so fresh. The owners have truly thought of everything. The towels are plentiful and fluffy, the sheets are a nice thread count, the bed is comfortable, the cottage is beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is well-equipped. We really enjoyed the porch. It was a nice place to start and end our days. We were unable to use the firepit due to lack of rain and burning restrictions. It is a nice little area with two chairs, plenty of firewood, and everything you need to start a fire. There is also a nice kettle grill on the little back porch. Again, you provide your entree and your charcoal, and everything else is there for you including a very nice grill implement set in the kitchen. The owners truly have the gift of hospitality! The only thing I would advise travelers to be aware of is that the adjacent rental property, a three-bedroom house, is quite close. It was not an issue for us, but if both properties are full, it would be best if tenants are compatible. We would love to stay here again.
