Set in the middle of a 14 hectare wooded site of oak and pine trees, our home called La Placette Haute is a contemporary hideaway with classic French accents.
A hamlet of 2-200+ restored farmhouses and a contemporary pavilion surrounding a pebbled courtyard offering outdoor dining overlooking a heated pool with extensive wood deck and valley views beyond.
We have spent 5+ years restoring and building this home to share with our family and friends, and now offering to guests to stay and experience the beautiful gastronomic Perigord region famous for its wine, truffles and foie gras to name a few.
Rural and quiet yet within easy reach of our village with boulangerie and amenities. A larger village of Thenon is less than 10 mins away with a large supermarket, restaurants, bank and more.
Besides gastronomy, our region is surrounded by picturesque villages including the medieval Perigueux and Sarlat with their amazing history and wonderful markets.
We are an hour plus away from the famed Bordeaux and vineyards of St Emillion.
