Summary: While the property was clean, our stay was soured by several issues and poor communication from property management. After checking in, the electronic front door padlock completely died and we were forced to leave the property unlocked while running to the airport to pickup family late in the evening. Management sent several codes to try, none of which worked, and after some time I didn't hear from them and there was no resolution. I understand it was after 9pm, but this is a major issue of safety. Early the following morning I reached out to tell them I was available for a few hours to try other solutions, but had to leave to attend a funeral at 9:30am. They told me it would be after 11am when someone could look into the lock. I was able to run out of the garage door before it closed so we wouldn't leave the place unlocked for many hours, but risked not being able to get back in if the issue wasn't fixed. Around 2pm, we were told it was resolved. We returned around 6pm and the padlock was still broken. At this time, they provided a code to get into the garage from the keypad there. I'm not sure why that wasn't an option from the start but it sufficed for the remainder of the trip. I completely understand that things happen and it's tough to fix things right away, but a problem that compromises safety needs to be prioritized and I continually had to reach out to try to solve this. Management seemed completely apathetic to this entire situation. While the listing states that the property can accommodate up to six guests, there weren't any sheets for the sofa bed and barely enough towels for the four of us that stayed there. I don't understand why there is a cleaning fee of over $150 when we have to take out the trash, strip beds, combine towels from all over, and provide our own bathroom hand soap. That should be clearer in the listing. Overall, we were not happy with the poor customer service during our stay.
