Get everywhere you want to go with ease; located only 15min from the airport, 10min to Halifax & a delightful 25min stroll to the Halifax Harbour & catch the ferry to Halifax. It’s a pedestrian friendly area, with lots of parks, trails & transit options at your fingertips!

This 2 story home is newly renovated and spacious, with 2000 ft² of space. The main level is open concept, consisting of the entry, kitchen, dining room, living room, powder room. The patio leads to the shared backyard, which has a tarzan rope and trampoline for the littles. The second level of the house has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has king bed, full ensuite bathroom & private patio & TV. The second bedroom has a double bed and the 3rd bedroom has another king bed. Level 2 also has a main bathroom with shower, a laundry area and a workout area that over looks the street where you can watch the pedestrians walk their dogs, run and cycle by. This house is located on the main “loop” that the locals use to walk, run, or bike around Lake Banook (aprox 5km loop). It’s a very lively & safe neighborhood!

This house is very conveniently located and is close to everything! There is a large mall down the street, Micmac Mall, just a 3 minute walk. It has a bus terminal that will whisk you off to Halifax. There’s also a bus stop directly across the street from the house, where the buses will take you directly to downtown Dartmouth or Halifax. Ubers are always at the mall parking lot. When you call for one, they usually pick you up within minutes to take you anywhere you want go. Very convenient when you want to go out for drinks or if you don’t have a car. DT Halifax is only a 5-10 drive away. Or you can walk to Downtown Dartmouth, hop on the ferry to Downtown Halifax, which is very scenic & fun!

There are walking & biking trails everywhere! The Trans Canada Trail system is just a 5 minute walk down the street. It’s a major trail system for walkers, runners and cyclists. You can bike across NS from here or simply go for a walk through beautiful Shubie Park and feed chickadees from the palm of your hand (they like sunflower seeds!). You can also rent kayaks at Shubie Park and paddle down the historic canal. And let’s not forget, there’s a supervised lake beach just a 5 minute walk from the house in Birch Cove Park.

If you plan to go on day trips, this location is ideal because you are minutes from the highway and on route to your NS adventure without having to deal with traffic. It’s a fast track to all of your day trip destinations!
