Summary: Wonderful and modern apartment located in a traditional Bavarian neighborhood - free parking is included. The unit is on the 3rd floor (US) in a house that has 3 apartments. The owner lives on the first floor - she was very nice. She does not speak English but her daughter in-law does and she lives 1 minute away (Bridgit). You have complete privacy and easy access to come and go. The apartment is very quiet, modern and has two balconies with nice views of the mountains. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a pull out couch in the family room. The unit is like new so you should not have any maintenance problems at all. Laundry is located in the basement and we paid an additional 8 euros to use both the washer and the dryer. You are located about a 2 minute drive to the heart of the village (you could walk if you like). We used the apartment as a base to explore the Garmish/Linderhof/Fussen area. I would certainly recommend this apartment - it was the best apartment we had during our week long stay in Germany.
