Summary: The house was perfect for a weeklong holiday in the country for our family (2 young kids and 1 set of grandparents). The house was very comfortable, with a spacious and relaxing living room area, and a kitchen that is stocked with lots of cooking equipment, which was great for us. The bedrooms were warm and comfy, and we enjoyed taking it easy and walking down the country road that the house is on each day to get outside and enjoy the woods. The location is great - just a 7-minute drive to Sharon Market, which, for a family-owned grocery store, is a somewhat surprisingly large with a great and wide selection of foods. The house is also close (10-15 mins) to a couple of nice state parks for hiking and also close to Salisbury and Millerton, slightly larger, but still very picturesque towns with a bit more commercial activity (cafes, restaurants, etc.) than Sharon. Gary was very friendly and great as a host. Very responsive to any questions or concerns we had, both via text and through phone calls. We were overall very happy with our stay.
