Cozy, yet spacious, this 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is located on 10 acres and features 600 ft of frontage on Cool Creek. Whip up some homemade chili in the fully stocked kitchen, enjoy a movie on the new sectional, snuggle in the spacious king size-bed, or enjoy a family game night at the dining table. Sleeper sofa accommodates an additional two guests. Sip coffee on the large deck, make s'mores at the campfire, or walk the well marked 1 mile (round trip) trail on the property. Enjoy peace and tranquility without sacrificing the convenience of nearby restaurants and stores. After the Salmon run at Tippy Dam (approx 5 miles away) you can watch the salmon swimming in the Cool Creek. Close to the Pine and Big Manistee Rivers, the North Country and Big M Trailheads and numerous ORV Trails including the Big/Little O and the Lincoln Hills ORV Trails. River and ORV Trail maps are located in the welcome book for your convenience. Snap a photo with your smart phone and take with you! In addition to the 10 private acres (hunting not permitted) accompanying this cabin, there are numerous nearby parcels of State/Federal Land available in the Manistee National Forest! Can we bring our pet?
Unfortunately this homeowner, as well as many travelers, have pet allergies and have opted to maintain a pet free home. We are sorry but we are not accepting pets at this time.
What do we need to bring?
Most of our locations supply toilet paper, hand soap, paper towel, dish soap, sponges, linens/blankets/pillows for beds (beds are made for guests) as well as towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, etc.. We suggest bringing anything you feel you may need and reviewing our amenities and supply list in it's entirety prior to traveling to your rental.
What activities are available in your area?
The activities in our area are nearly entirely outdoor recreation activities. Blessed to be located in the Manistee National Forest we are lucky to be very close to some amazing hiking/fat biking trails such as the Big M and the North Country Trail. We are surrounded by lakes and rivers as well. Kayak or canoe on the Big Manistee, the Little Manistee or the Pine River. Watch the salmon run in the fall in small creeks or fish one of our many small lakes. We are also located only about a half hour from Lake Michigan and it's beautiful beaches. Shopping is available in Manistee, Ludington, and Traverse City. Our area also has many ATV and Snowmobile trails and trail maps are available online and in the welcome book at our cabins. This cabin is located approx 20-35 minutes from Crystal Mountain and Caberfae Peaks for skiing and snowboarding. We are located 25 minutes from the Little River Casino and our area hosts the Hoxeyville Music Festival Annually as well!
Can we camp on the property? Camping allowed on select properties. Contact prior to arrival. Fee may be required.
Can we hunt on the property? Hunting is not permitted in this residential area. Federal and State lands are available for hunting. Shooting/Target Practice also prohibited.

What is your cancellation policy: You will receive a full refund if your stay is cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival.
