Summary: Whilst the host of this property has the opportunity to create a beautiful space for accommodation in an old style home on an expansive property, there is a number of factors that need to be addressed before this property should be allowed to be relisted on the Stayz website. Whilst there appeared to be some extenuating circumstances with a cleaner's avail-ability, the previous occupants had supposedly been in the accommodation two months. It was clearly going to need more then a few hours to clean it. Linen was not changed in the main bedroom and left with blood and other fluid substances on them. The microwave was full of old food pieces, and the fridge full of food. The property was listed as two bathrooms, one bathroom (ensuite) was not available, supposedly being renovated. This was a problem as we were bringing older people to stay at this accommodation who were not immediate family. There was no hand washing materials in the bathroom and the toilet had no window or drapes and was open to the elements. Meaning that in Sunbury region on a winters night in July it was exceptionally cold. I was required to fashion some type of covering with a scarf and sticky tape to make it a little less cold. Despite the question regarding stairs and access to the property, whilst there are no stairs there are steps down into the toilet area and out the back of the property. There is no fire safety equipment available in the kitchen or near the fire place. Seek another option.
