Our house is located in the south-east of Sicily, in the countryside, near Rosolini, between the provinces of Syracuse and Ragusa. It is a strategic place for visiting the UNESCO heritage cities of great artistic, architectural and naturalistic interest. We are 18 km from Modica, famous for its baroque churches and the typical chocolate; 35 km from Ragusa Ibla and Scicli rich in historical Baroque monuments. A few minutes away you will be in the fascinating city of Noto, the Baroque capital; at 40 minutes you will find yourself in Syracuse, the ancient city of Dionigi and Archimede, with the Greek theater, home to classical representations every two years and the island of Ortigia, the oldest part of the city. A few minutes you reach the Ionian sea (Marzamemi, Eloro and the Vendicari reserve) or the Mediterranean Sea with its suggestive beaches and golden sand dunes.
The block has been built according to the typical Sicilian rural stone house surrounded by dry stone walls and centuries-old olive and carob trees. The natural garden and the fruits of our garden will delight our guests' stay. The structure is eco-sustainable: ventilated and cork-insulated roofs, electric photovoltaic, solar panels and a biomass boiler for heating and hot water. The apartment we offer, located on the ground floor, is "La Terrazza": one bedroom with double bed, bathroom, kitchen, dining room with single sofa bed and a private terrace equipped with table and chairs. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and independent heating, complete with bed and bath linen included in the price.
