Be our guests while we restore our 15 acre property! This newly renovated Guest House is perfect for 2 Adults and up to 2 Children who want to share in the charm of our countryside property. See wildlife, take a walk around our "wild" greenhouse, and enjoy birds chirping in the mornings, all while being just 7 minutes from town.
Our guest house is a quaint 500 sqft ranch located directly behind the main house where our family resides. We'll be respectful of your privacy during your stay.
We like to follow up with each guest on a personal phone call before the stay, but we're also available by message platform. You'll usually be chatting with Taylor or Rachael, but we do have a virtual assistant, Jolina, who helps us monitor our message line when we need it.
We like to provide our guests as much privacy or interaction as they'd like. You can either embrace the family setting or keep to yourselves! We love meeting new people and learning about what brings them here to Rochester, but are glad to provide privacy as well.
On the chance that something needs to be fixed or replaced during your stay, Taylor will swing over to help.

Fall is the best time to visit local farms nearby our place! Pick Pumpkins, grab donuts, cider, or shop at these nearby Farm markets!

The property features a long gravel driveway leading up to, first, our Main House, and right behind that, the Guest House. There's a designated parking area along the side of the guest house, for up to 2 cars.
You will have access to the Guest House privately, but, please be aware that both the driveway and the yard between the two houses is currently "shared" and open, so it feels like you'll have a close neighbor. However, our family uses the front yard to play and relax, so you'll barely see us here unless we are tending to some landscaping projects.
This unique 15-acre property is located across from a farm field and bordering protected forestland. It features a Main House and a Guest House directly behind. Both houses are set back down a long driveway nestled behind a row of gorgeous silver maples! While we are in the town of Penfield close to tons of local conveniences, the rural charm is what draws you in! You'll see lots of wildlife right on our property including deer, turkeys, geese, ducks & and occasionally a coyote…!.
The Guest House set right behind our Main House where our small family lives. The kitchen is brand new and everything else has been updated with new flooring, paint, and furnishings. Pics of kitchen to come as its undergoing finishing touches but will be ready for your stay!
From your front window, you'll catch a glimpses of our work-in progress home and may even see us working in the yard. Again, please be aware that the yard between the two spaces is open, creating a sense of community during your stay, but we will keep to ourselves to respect your privacy!

-"Work-in -progress" back sitting area overlooking the meadow and our wild greenhouse!

-Coffee (we provide some k-cups- bring more if you'd like!)
Note: No Washer & Dryer available at this time.
Current Project: We just removed an old in-ground pool that was between the two houses and are currently growing grass.

1. Please note that the guest house structure is smaller than it actually appears in the exterior photos. The left half of the house is a greenhouse workshop that will not be accessible. The 500 Sqft space is on the right half of the home.
2. Kitchen is undergoing finishing touches, so pics to come. We are available starting 6/15!
3. Our Main House is currently undergoing a restoration to revive its original charm, so you'll catch glimpses of our work-in-progress during your stay.
4. While we are able to accommodate up to 4 guests, the bed setup is one Queen bed and an available blow-up mattress. Our preference is for 2 adults and up to 2 children. Please inquire for more details.
4. As you'll see anywhere in the country, during the Spring and Summer months, we'll sometimes see some bugs making their way inside. We do our best to manage the bug situation, but it can be a part of the country-living experience. Please let us know in advance if you have any questions about this.
