Summary: Mixed bag for this place. Lots of potential for this place. Nice space, but owner could have been better with communication. Power went out for a day while we were there and it took the owner awhile to respond to our messages on VRBO, but received a faster response by text. Also, the smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night, which probably could have been avoided if the owner had vacuumed/cleaned out the dust in the smoke alarm. The kitchen space is crowded with the dining table, but not sure where this could be moved. Maybe to the empty room beside it. Bedrooms could use blackout curtains for noise reduction(next to a busy highway) and to block out light pollution for sleeping. Good value for the space. Lots of good spaces in this home. Pretty bare bones in terms of kitchen utencils and things like Pot holders. We did buy some pot holders for the place and left them there for others to use. It's a new listing, so I expect there will be improvements/updates as time goes on. Very convenient location to Syracuse University.
