Newly constructed 2 bedroom house with large open plan living space. Two bright and spacious bedrooms, one with a double and single bed, and one double ensuite. Situated on the Inishturk loop walk, close to the renowned Portoon harbour and iconic GAA football pitch. Sleeps up to six guests when using the sofa bed. These cottages on this rugged and charming island are a truly unique experience!
Inishturk Island lies off the west coast of Ireland and is one of the most magical places you will ever visit! Although the island is small, if you enjoy the outdoors and rugged countryside as well as the uniqueness of small communities then Inishturk is a must visit for you and your family. Although the island is small we dont recommend these cottages to people with low mobility as there is no taxi service on the island for the duration of your stay.
These cottages have everything you need for a comfortable stay, you will need to bring supplies with you during the winter months as the local store has limited opening hours but don't worry the host will be on hand to transport your luggage and supplies as well as yourselves to your cottage.
All through the year, in every season you will be treated to spectacular scenery, with views across the ocean towards Louisburgh, Leenane, and the Renvyle Peninsula. Enjoy the unrivalled views of the Twelve Pins Mountain range as well as Croagh Patrick.
