Creekside guests will only share the large deck, heated pool, summer kitchen and fenced yard with those in your party. For safety concerns we do not host children under 12yrs due to the proximity of the pool to the entry door. Creekside w/palm tree lined fenced-in yard, pool and summer kitchen in resort setting provide a relaxing atmosphere for romantic getaway, family vacation or just chill-laxing. The beaches of Sanibel Island and Ft. Myers Beach are a short drive away.Creekside Cottage is a detached home with a large private deck and private heated pool located on historic Hendry Creek in South Ft Myers. Creekside property is 728sqft w/ 2bm & 1bth and comfortable open living plan with both kitchen and living room overlooking pool deck and creek in a resort like setting. A palm tree lined fenced-in dog friendly yard, heated pool with in-water bar and large surrounding deck with pool side summer kitchen provide a relaxing atmosphere for romantic getaway, family vacation or just chill-laxing with a BBQ by the pool. The beaches of Sanibel Island and Ft. Myers Beach are a short drive or Lovers key and Dog Beach is a short 20-minute boat ride away from our dock. Boathouse with lift for small boats.

For the birdwatchers Creekside is located under the flight path for wading birds that nest in neighboring Lakes Park. Nearly every evening just prior to Sunset Egret’s, Ibis’s, Heron’s and Anhinga’s all overfly the pool sky returning to evening roost. The process reverses as Sunrise begins and the flight heads south for a day of fishing and foraging. Bald Eagles and Osprey are also local residents that enjoy our local waters and the adjoining Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve.
The Creekside and her sister Cypress Cottage are two of the original Cottages built in 1950 that made up the popular Pink Shell Resort on Ft. Myers Beach now known as Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa. In the late 70’s the resort expanded and needed space and rather than destroy the tiny cottages the owners where offered them free of charge to anyone willing to bear the cost of relocation. In 1979 Flint & Dole moved these two Cottages to their present location. According to the Estero Island Historic Society the Cottages were constructed with local “Island Mahogany”. Current owners purchased the property in December 2013 and began remodeling Creekside in 2014. After the renovations to Creekside were complete the process of converting the other into Cypress Cottage began.
