Casa de Ensuenos "Dream Home" is exactly that, our dream home. Our home was completed in February 2021 and was under construction for 2 years. This house has nothing but the best of everything, and gives a whole new meaning to the word "custom" when speaking about custom homes. There is nothing ordinary with our 4 story 4 bedroom 5 full bathroom 4,500 square foot home, and unique luxury is a great way to describe it. Get ready to be spoiled while staying at Casa de Ensuenos. Enjoy the ocean view while swimming in our infinity salt water pool, which also has a shallow end for the kids, or go inside and enjoy an ocean or jungle view from every single room in the house. Feel free to soak up all the sights even more by walking out onto the balconies from any room in the house. Walk 5 minutes down the hill directly down the public path and you will step onto the beautiful white sand Santa Teresa beach with premier surfing directly in front. At Casa de Ensuenos we imported all the lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and all the hardware throughout. The 3 meter tall sliders and 4 meter high ceilings gives the experience of being outdoors while viewing the jungle and ocean all around while still giving you the comfort of being indoors. Inside you will appreciate our gourmet kitchen with custom paneling high end Thermador appliances with gas stove (most in Costa Rica are electric). Oversized kitchen island with bar/counter seating for 6. Island sink has an extra water faucet for instant hot water, and clean extra filtered ph balanced added mineral drinking water. It is an incredible experience to use the outdoor deluxe built in Coyote BBQ especially while it is raining being protected under the wood paneled eaves. All cabinetry, countertops, colors, wood detail and tile throughout were hand selected by an experienced designer (my wife). All the furniture was custom made specifically for this home as well. Dining table that seats 8 comfortably, with outdoor table and chairs for 8 as well, for memorable outdoor dinners or early morning coffee with breakfast before walking to the surf. You will always know how the waves are breaking because you can check them while you are in your bed when you wake up, in the shower, getting dressed, making breakfast or drinking your coffee from any of the balconies. Another added feature for convivence is the whole house Lutron lighting system. Also imported was the Sonos in ceiling speakers for indoor and outdoor entertainment. Top story family room with 65" samsung flat screen with sonos soundbar and subwoofer for movie theatre like viewing and game playing. Vaulted wood paneled ceiling with soft indirect lighting add another element to this incredible room. Game counsels are an extra bonus for the kids. This house is equipped with high speed fiber optics internet with strong wifi signals throughout the house. This top story family room is not only for TV viewing, but also bird, monkey, storm/lightning, beach/surfing/waves, stars and jungle viewing. 180 degree of view of up and down the beach of Santa Teresa. The outdoor furniture and top story mini bar make appetizers and drinks while watching the sunset an every day occurrence. It is quite a unique experience to be in the trees yet at the same time high enough above them to have a clear unobstructed view of everything in front of the house. From this location you can feel the ocean breeze and hear the waves while being just off the beachfront in complete privacy and without the annoyance of bugs. Front driveway has large automatic gate for convenience and privacy. 5 security cameras surround the outside of the house for an extra level of security. Also anything you would need for a small child is available upon request.
Casa de Ensuenos has 3 king beds, and 2 queen size bunk beds. The tap water which enters the house either from the local aqueduct or from the onsite well, is specially filtered to treat and clean all the water before it comes out of any water spigot in the house. Air conditioning units located in every room.
The lot our home sits on could also never be duplicated. Great views, easily accessible, best part of Santa Teresa, and walking distance to the beach. Up away from the crowds, dust and car noise, yet still close enough to walk to restaurants (on or off the beach), bars/club, super market, and surfing. The private concrete road off the main road, which is always easily accessible and recently redone, makes the trip to the house a breeze. The lot is loaded with newly planted trees and plants (over 500) for a truly one of a kind garden. Walk around the property to view and smell all the beautiful flowers, or feel free to pick fresh fruit or vegetables. The fruit and veggies include mango, apple, lime, cherry, starfruit, bananas, grapefruit, avocado, guanabana, orange, or papaya. Also on the property our 10 free range/roam hens who produce 8-10 eggs a day for your enjoyment. 2 swings on the property are also there for your kids entertainment. Ping Pong table available upon request.
Casa de Ensuenos comes with a full time concierge to help with anything you may need or want, full time housekeeping service, full time night guard, and full time property care takers.
It is a difficult decision to open our home up to others, but knowing that someone else can experience this magical place and enjoy everything our house has to offer after we put so much energy, time, and money into this project, makes it all worth it to us.
