Summary: I have stayed at several Daiwa Roynet hotels now, in Tokyovand Kyoto. I find them consistent in their standards and a good choice for the cost-conscious traveller. Daiwa Roynet Osaki is conveniently located for connections to Yamanote and Saikyo lines as Osaki station is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel seems to be quite old compared to other Diawa Roynet hotels I've stayed in, with signs of minor wear and tear here and there, but the room was fine - comfortable, good air-conditioning, TV, and decent shower. That is all I need in a hotel, personally, as a base for exploration around the city. The staff appear to be multilingual and were quick to help with anything.
