Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Our host was very communicative through WhatsApp and gave us specific instructions on where to meet him. Once we arrived at the meeting spot, he walked us to the apartment (and carried our suitcases). He was a very gracious host and made us feel very welcomed. Though there were only 2 of us, the apartment would be ideal for a party of 4 given the second bathroom and second bedroom with two additional twin beds. The apartment is clean and the location is great - near the main plaza. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant.

Negative: There was an unpleasant smell coming from the main bathroom (so much so that we used the second bathroom). The soap provided was not usable. The toilet seats were broken (unattached) and the bathroom floor gets wet from the shower since there is no door or curtain. I conveyed this to the host, and he said he would take steps to make improvements (and I think he will). It was cold when we were there and the apartment did not have a heater. The apartment did provide comforters and we just bundled up!

Summary: This would be a great place for a party of 4.
