Positive: Our recent two-night stay at DC Urban Transient Home was a pleasant and relaxing experience overall, with a few minor hiccups that were promptly addressed. Upon our arrival, we did face some initial difficulty locating the property. Both Google Maps and Waze seemed to be outdated or not accurately pinned, which led to a bit of confusion. Thankfully, the guard stationed at the subdivision entrance was helpful and guided us to the right location. While it delayed our arrival a bit, it wasn’t too big of a setback and once we found the place, everything fell into place. The transient home itself immediately gave off a clean and cozy vibe. It truly felt like a home away from home. The interiors were tidy and well-kept, with just the right amount of decor to make it welcoming without feeling cluttered. From the living room to the bedrooms, the ambiance was warm and inviting, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. However, there was a small issue with the air conditioning in one of the rooms—it wasn’t working when we arrived. Since we checked in quite late in the evening, there was no technician available to handle the repair at that time. While that could have been a major inconvenience, the situation was handled impressively well. The owner made the effort to come early the next morning to personally ensure the aircon was fixed. That level of attentiveness and concern for guests’ comfort really stood out, and we were grateful for the swift response. Kudos to the host for going above and beyond. Despite the minor glitch, we had a lovely stay. The peaceful environment, the cleanliness of the space, and the overall comfort made for a restful and enjoyable visit. It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for those looking to unwind and recharge while still feeling like they’re in a familiar setting. We’d definitely consider staying here again, and now that we know exactly where it is, we’re sure the check-in experience will be even smoother next time.
