Need a place to relax and unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city ? Deer Ridge Retreat is nestled in tall pines and oak trees nothing to hear except for the sound of birds or the winds whistling through the trees. Probably see a few white tail deer around the property. Enjoy relaxing in the hot tub or just sitting on the porch, or sitting around the fire pit. The cabin is open concept , plenty of room for the whole family. Sleeps up to 10 guests. Kitchen is stocked with whatever you will need just bring your groceries or cook out on the charcoal grill. Living space has a poker table for a nice game of cards. Two upstairs lofts with full size beds perfect for the kids. Property is located on a fenced 1 acre with a big yard, swing set and tree swing for the kids play. The phone service is pretty spotty around property. Summary: The property is clean and spacious. Met all our expectations. Felt quiet and peaceful the entire time we were there. Only problem we encountered was trying to access the property address. Owner advised us not to follow the address and provided another address that would not load up on the gps. Ended up following expedias address which led us straight to the property. Owner/manager was in contact with us the entire time and ensured we reached the location. The only minor problem we found was that it was about 45 min drive to all the attractions. We made it work and would recommend to friends and family.
