Positive: The apartment is quite decent for two people. We stayed there for two weeks end September - beginning of October and must have been close to the only tourists in town. The view is great and, except for the last couple of days where it got a bit cool, we ate all our meals on the terrace. The view from the upstairs terrace is outstanding, although I missed some shade. There are supermarkets and a butcher nearby, so unless you're really into driving around the countryside, there is no need for a car. Rome can easily be reached by train from the nearby station. The host is very friendly and helpfull. When I pointed out that a box-grater and breadknife was missing they were provided very speedily early the first morning.
Negative: There is a full kitchen and most everything you'll need for 4 people, but the pans are quite worn and should have been replaced a while ago. A couple of medium size plastic bowls and an ovenproof dish or two would have been nice to have. I always bring my own knives so it wasn't an issue, but a kitchen knife / chefs knife was missing and was never provided. The appartment appears a bit worn down - the sofa cover in the living room being an example. Finally, the lighting in both living- and bed-room is ugly as sin, giving off a harsh white light. It is quite frankly, really awful.
