Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The accommodation was a free-standing cabin/small house, but still spacious, with a nice architecture. It was run by a nice, elderly couple. The location was within a 10-minutes' walk to downtown Esquel.

Negative: I was taken by surprise, as the hosts requested an additional amount of money to cover expenses for sanitary items, besides the rent. An amount widely exceeding the actual costs for items that actually didn't exist. At first they wanted the additional pay in US dollars too, but then accepted to receive it in Argentinian pesos. The china and glasses were fine, but the kitchen-ware was a minimum of very well-used utensils, which they so easily could upgrade. Would I stay here again? Hesitant...
