Desert Pea is a modern, private and exceptionally comfortable holiday home.
This property is an idyllic space to return to after exploring stunning Coffin Bay, its expansive beaches and magnificent National Parks. Family game nights, a bottle of wine on the veranda as the sun sets, and soaking up the sounds of Coffin Bay s abundant bird life; Desert Pea is your home away from home in which to make memories.
Just 100m off the Esplanade and Oyster Trail, this dog and family-
friendly home is less than ten minutes walk to the local shops, Coffin Bay yacht club and jetty, petrol station, skate park, tennis courts and oval. The open plan living and dining room comfortably seats eight or more people. The external doors lead out to two undercover veranda areas, one with a BBQ, extendable outdoor dining set and casual outdoor lounge set. A large split system air conditioner unit in the dining room services the whole house, with additional ceiling fans in all bedrooms and the living and dining space.
The laundry includes both a washing machine as well as dryer and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking and serving large meals. Staple pantry items such as olive oil, salt and pepper and vinegar are on hand. There is an Italian press for enjoying an early morning coffee while the sea breeze rolls in.
All water plumbed to the property is clean filtered rainwater, and the home is serviced by a very large hot water system; perfect for freshening up after a long day at the beach.
The house comprises four large bedrooms furnished with quality wool carpet, each with built-in wardrobes. All linen and towels (purchased new in December 2022) are provided.
There are three queen size bedroom settings, as well as a fourth bedroom with two single beds (both with quality inner-spring mattresses comfortable for adults as well as children) and an infant/toddler cot in the corner. Please not it is the responsibility of the guests to ensure the cot is suitable for their child. The third queen bed is a full-size foldout couch with thick, firm foam mattress and has an additional foam overlay, making it very comfortable for adult guests as well as children.
Respectful, clean dogs are welcome to the property. There are some fantastic dog-friendly beaches close by. A water and food bowl is provided in the laundry. There is a boat storage area which doubles as a secure dog enclosure and has a small veranda up off the ground, leading out from the laundry. Please note that any damage caused by dogs at the property will be repaired at full cost of the guest; we take a common sense approach to this and trust our guests to do the right thing. All in all Desert Pea is modern, comfortable and private. The home is both close to town, and close to all of Coffin Bay s stunning beaches and parks, ready for you enjoy.
