2200 Square Foot Arts and Craft Cottage on Canim Lake. 211 Feet of beach front with beautiful pebbles. Three viewing porches. There is a large lawn for Bocce Ball or Croquet. Located within walking distance to Reynolds Resort for boat and fishing rentals.
Canim Lake is one of the Cariboo's gems and the largest lake in the South Cariboo. Canim in know to have been frequented by famous folks such as Edgar J Hoover (Hoover Bay), Hemmingway (Hemmingway Lodge), John Wayne and the Rat Pack. A man named Bob Fish owned a resort at the North End of Canim Lake apparently called the Cariboo Canim Resort and used to fly guests on his DC3 from Vancouver to the resort. The resort closed in the early 1970's but Canim is still relatively undeveloped. The lake has a mountainous terrain and amazing scenery as it is surrounded by old dormant volcanoes.
