Tranquil spot to retreat, relax and enjoy the view Sitting at the end of a no-through road, this farmhouse is a versatile space, with generous accommodation separated by an east and west wing which can be let as a whole or as two separate units - perfect for sharing or simply a tranquil spot to retreat, relax and enjoy the view. Dryburgh Farmhouse One enjoys plenty of light with a three-bay facade looking out over a large south facing garden. The sitting room has plenty of space for entertaining, combining every home comfort and plenty of indulgent detailing. The high quality kitchen is spacious and well equipped and the dining area seats six guests comfortably. The addition of a sofa and flat screen TV offers additional lounge space for a little catch-up time along with that first morning coffee and a fresh croissant. Upstairs are two very smart bedrooms with en-suite facilities - one with charming Juliet balcony has the best seat in the house overlooking the river and historic chain bridge. Outside guests can enjoy a large lawned garden, perfect for sunshine entertaining or relaxed picnics on the lawn. Step across the road and you have direct access onto the river and some fantastic woodland trails, while a five minute walk will take you to the spectacular ruins of Dryburgh Abbey and the nearby hotel for dining-out or drinks at the end of a lovely day.
