Newly renovated interior (11/2020) reflects a traditional meets modern home style with neutral colors and all hard floors. The wraparound porch includes 350 sq. ft. covered patio.
Never get bored on this beautiful lake with 4 kayaks, a rowboat, paddles and life jackets. The gently sloping property is unusual here, making your stay for young and old alike safe and enjoyable. 350 feet of lakefront give great views and access.
The entire property sleeps 16 people, including 3 bedrooms, along with 3 bathrooms. In the main house the master bedroom contains a king bed and en-suite bathroom with large closet. The master bedroom also has porch access with table and chairs for 2 - perfect for coffee in the morning! The second bedroom features a twin over a full bunk bed and a closet. The second bathroom is conveniently located in the hallway, off from the bedrooms. Both bathrooms include plush white hotel towels and linens.
There are three spacious living areas on the property, enough space for friends and family. One living room features a deluxe queen Murphy bed. A privacy curtain can create a 4th bedroom in this living area. There is a smart TV, with WIFI access on the four TVs with streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, Disney+ and more.
The kitchen is perfectly positioned between both living areas. The kitchen features ALL the amenities including, refrigerator, blender, coffee pot, electric tea kettle, toaster oven, microwave, and range with oven and stove. There is an island that seats 4 and a dining table which seats 6.
The main house includes an energy-efficient washer and dryer, located in a separate laundry room.
Take the pathway, on the side of the main home, which leads to the bunkhouse…. The bunkhouse studio sleeps up to 9 people and includes a full bathroom with bathtub/shower. There are 3 twin over full bunk beds. The bunkhouse also has a kitchen, with a full size refrigerator, induction cooktop, microwave, and toaster oven. There is a pool table anda spacious living area to accommodate all in the bunkhouse. The living area TV with WiFi access. This space is perfect for all the kids or the whole crew. Just take the pathway to get back to the main house!
Read a book and enjoy the views of Toledo Bend on the outdoor patio or at the beach area. The covered outdoor patio can accommodate seating for 12+. It includes a charcoal grill for lunch or dinner cooking, a hammock for relaxing.
There is a beach area, with fold out chairs, hammocks and beach towels.
A firepit area with semi-circle bench is perfect for watching the gorgeous sunset.

BOARD GAMES / PLAYING CARDS
Located in the TV Stand in the Main House living room you will find some board games and playing cards to have a fun time with the family or to pass the time on a rainy day.
MUSIC SYSTEM
We have a sound bar located on TV Stand in Main House living room. You may connect your Bluetooth devices to it. It is as simple as powering up and pressing Bluetooth button on sound bar until it blinks blue. Then locate on your device. It should show up as "Signa 2".
PRINTER To access it wirelessly, you must be signed onto WiFi. The printer is connected to the following WiFi.
BOAT LAUNCH
A neighborhood boat launch is located just around the corner. You can actually see it at end of our property by looking to the right. To access it: Turn left when exiting Alexander St.. Then take the next left. Go to end of road and the boat launch is on the left. There is no parking for your trailer and boat at launch, so you will need to bring it back to house.
RECREATION
Chairs, life jackets, and hammocks.
4-Kayaks. Paddles, lifejackets, and keys to locks are located inside Recreation Shed. Clean and lock back after using.
GRILL / BBQ
We provide a 4-burner gas grill under side patio. Extra propane should also be on porch, if needed. Please do not leave grill in the rain, but move under patio when finished. Please clean grill, when you are finished.
CHARTER FISHING
There are many fine guides on Toledo Bend, but we have developed a special relationship with Josh Sykes. He or his guides will pick you up on the property for your excursion. The prices for all day bass trip is approximately $450 (two people) and $500 for Crappie (4 people). Let us know if you would like to schedule an excursion with Josh.
NO SMOKING
Pick up all cigarette butts outside. This is non-negotiable.
TRASH
Our area does not have dedicated trash pickup. We have a large plastic garbage depository with lid at the front of the property (right next to entrance). Please deposit all trash, in bags in this square white receptacle near the mailbox. Our housekeeper will empty the trash bin when she cleans house after departure. Please make sure everything is properly bagged and not too heavy. If this bin is getting full during your stay, please contact us so we can get someone to empty it beforehand.
PARKING
Parking is provided on site for up to 6 vehicles or more if you use the circle driveway for parking. There is no driving or parking on the grass. No campers.
FIRES
Fires only in set area with rocks for fire ring.
SMALL DOGS
Small dogs (under 30 pounds)with paid pet fee. All poop must be picked up in yard and discarded.

When you leave, please ensure the following simple tasks are done:
All trash is brought to trash bin near road. Everything must be properly bagged. Air conditioner set to cool 80F or when necessary heat set to 60F. Run the dishwasher with last load of dishes. Wash all white towels alone. Lock the house and all buildings on property. Any outdoor recreation items used (kayaks, paddles, hammocks, etc.) must be properly cleaned and stored in the proper place. Kayaks and paddleboat must be locked up. Keys back on the hook in the shed.
