Newcastle Foreshore is a park which spans 11 hectares, kissing the border of the harbour, beaches, and culturally significant sites. This reclaimed land offers stunning views of the harbour and is an excellent place to settle down for a relaxing picnic. The playground offers an excellent escape for the kids while parents enjoy the serenity of the area. Once you’ve finished exploring, make sure to head to one of the many nearby eateries.
The Blackbutt Nature Reserve spans an impressive 182 hectares of amazing bushland, and with free entry to wildlife exhibits, this is the perfect setting for a family day out. Whether you want to admire the wildlife from afar or get up close and personal to feed the emus, there’s plenty for the whole family. For those with kids, be sure to purchase an activity pack to venture on a scavenger hunt.
Newcastle Museum is a vibrant centre with constantly rotating exhibits. Some local treasures honour the history of the Hunter Nurses of the Great War, the Model T Ford, Indigenous history and culture, and other history beloved to the region.
Only two hours north of Sydney, Newcastle is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city without being too far removed from everything.
Getting Around:
For guests arriving by car, there is free parking on the premises. For the convenience of easily exploring the area, it is recommended that guests have their own transport.

Rural Property: Please note this home is located in a rural area. Although the home has regular pest servicing you may still encounter bugs, insects, spiders etc.
Pool: The home is located in a rural area and although the pool is regularly serviced upon your arrival the pool may contain leaves, pollen/flowers and insects or little animals. Any items in the pool can be scooped out with the pool net.
Spa: Spa is not heated and will be the same temperature of the pool water. The jets are also not in operation.
Trampoline - is currently out of action whilst we wait on the delivery of the new netting.
Please note - Our pool is a favorite spot for everyone, including the local ducks and occasional ducklings. While we make efforts to discourage them for a more enjoyable stay, their presence can be unavoidable due to the location and natural surroundings. If you're not particularly fond of ducks, you might want to consider another home for your booking.
Safety: The home does have two internal stairs cases leading to the upper level. The home also has an upper level balcony, and patios off each bedroom with no fencing as per the listing photos.
Electronic Iron Gates: Are currently not operating and therefore will remain open during guest stays.
Horse Stables: Are locked and not for guest use.
Noise Policy: We always follow strict noise regulations and ask you to be respectful and considerate. Strictly no parties or gatherings are to be held in this property. Any breach of these regulations may result in eviction without a refund of the remaining funds or deposit.
Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups with travelers under the age of 23 years unless a specific exception has been approved. Travelers under the age of 23 that are traveling with a family group with a parent are more then welcome to stay with us.
Supplies: A complimentary welcome pack will be provided that includes several single-use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, soap, laundry, and dishwashing supplies. For extended stays, please bring extra provisions.
