Positive: It is a fairly new apartment building in a new neighborhood with friendly residents. The apartment is dog friendly, at no extra cost, with plenty of greenery to walk the dog. Free parking on the street or in the parking garage. Friendly host. Free (but slow) WiFi. Fully furnished apartment on the ground floor with washing machine and garden.

Negative: Although the apartment is fairly new, you could see that it was already “well” used. Loose plugs in the walls and damaged curtains. The apartment smelled strongly of detergent, but absolutely no cleaning had been done. Clouds of dust under the bed. The floor had not been vacuumed because there was sand, dust and dog hair everywhere. The shower mat was dirty. The shower cubicle was dirty with yellow soap residue on the joints between the tiles. The apartment is not in Dinard, but just outside it. The location is excellent if you want to explore the area by car, such as Cancale or Saint-Malo. However, the famous beaches of Dinard and the center are a 30-45 minute walk from the apartment. The location is therefore not suitable if you want to sit among the restaurants and terraces of Dinard.

Summary: Okay choice, but more attention to cleaning.
