Positive: We loved every single thing! From the super efficient, warm and friendly host Vanessa who ensured we had everything we needed before our arrival at this stunning characterful town house with all of its beautiful, stylish, high comfort furnishings and an awesome Zen Den in the most stunning garden located right in the heart of gorgeous La Rochelle. I was concerned there was no air con. However, it was absolutely no problem whatsoever! The house is old with thick walls and extremely spacious so it stays very cool throughout. Vanessa also provided smart fans but they weren't needed. The ground floor bedroom was ideal for my 90 year old mum who had the best time. I was also concerned about mosquitos but we didn.t meet one! We even kept the bedroom windows open and sat outside well into the evening. Can't recommend the host and the house and the place enough. Just book it. The utter comfort and relaxation is worth every penny!
Negative: I didn't like we only booked 1 week - wished we had booked longer but we will be back!! :-)
