The new Garden Apt suite:
Over 840 square-foot private, spacious, multi-level garden apt with private entry from the side of the house. A large private space with bedroom,, large living, second level bathroom with changing space and closet and thoughtfully designed brand new kitchen with tons of storage. Walkout from your private entrance in the backyard to relax on the patio as you enjoy your morning or evening beverage and you gaze into the tranquility of the large backyard space. To enhance your zen moment, simply walk down to the backyard and take in the natural beauty of mature oak trees, Blue-jays, song birds, playful squirrels and wildlife. outside your suite, a rare amenity, relax by the fire after a full day of exploring the beauty of the bay area.
Outdoor Space:
This is the most beautiful area of the house with terraced landscaping with nothing but large trees at sight. Our guests have access to sit outside either under the sun or in a hammock under trees to read books. If you prefer to work under the trees with bird sounds, you will be provided with an outdoor laptop stand. Please cleanup the place after use.
Bedroom:
King mattresses with gel-memory foam comfort along with your at home-feeling use. More than three closet storages and luggage racks are also available. From the bedroom, take stairs to the next level to the bathroom with changing space and mirror closet in that level. Nest thermostat to turn on heat and cold for light sleepers, a sound machine is available for your comfort.
Kitchen:
In the kitchen, you will find Quartz countertops, full refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, Four-burner cooktop, coffee maker, toaster and blender. The cabinets are well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, measuring cups, cutting board, knives, silverware, plates, saucers, cups and wine glasses. Common condiments can be found within the various cabinets and drawers (i.e. salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, tea). A tall waste bin is provided near the cooktop counter, to collect your suite waste. Waste receptacles are located outside the suite's primary entrance across the driveway: green bin- kitchen / food waste, grey bin- glass / paper recyclables and brown bin- landfill. As we attempt to minimize our carbon-footprint, we appreciate your participation in our local recycling efforts.
Bathroom:
Entry from the living space, take steps to the bathroom. Personal hygiene supplies for your unexpected needs are available (eg. shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, tooth brush, tooth paste). If you need them, please use them, if not, we ask to please leave them for the next guest's unexpected needs. All of these items can be found on the counter next to the shower. In addition for your comfort, is a heat lamp/light located in the middle of the bathroom ceiling. To operate, the switch is located on the wall near the toilet. The heat lamp must be attended at all times and we ask you turn it off upon leaving the bathroom and/or suite. The first aid kit is located in the bathroom vanity drawer, top right-hand side.
Pets: Dogs and Cats Only
We love our four legged canine friends and understand the importance of them joining us on our travels. Dogs must be well behaved, no chewing, no destruction of property, must be potty trained and must never be left unattended. Please keep pets off all furniture. As should be understood, owners are expected to pick up any pet waste in or outside of the property. Proper cleanup after any pet incident.
A security deposit of $150 may be requested if damage or soiling occurs. Again, we love pets and appreciate how they add enjoyment to our trips.
Storage:
Extra sheets and blankets are found in the closet, top shelf. Shower towels are stored on the shelf in the bathroom. Linens, pillows and blankets for the Queen futon are located in the bedroom closet. We are new to hosting in Airbnb and might have missed a few, please ask if you need anything.
