The Jaxon House comfortably accommodates up to four guests, featuring a king-sized bed in the upstairs bedroom boasting breathtaking views, as well as a plush Italian leather queen sleeper sofa in the living area.
Feel like dining in? Enjoy cooking up a meal in the kitchen, complete with modern amenities including a stove top, coffee maker, toaster, griddle, air fryer, microwave, and fridge. Currently, Jay Bear’s Retreat is home to The Jaxon House and one cozy cabin, Three Pines Cabin. While the treehouse cabins provide a unique getaway for all, we have a very special mission at Jay Bear’s Retreat: “Giving families of special needs children the opportunity to make memories while enjoying all nature has to offer.” Our son, nicknamed Jay Bear, was born 14 weeks premature and spent the first 5 months of his life in the NICU. Our family knows first hand how important it is to spend time together, but how difficult it can be with so many doctor and therapy appointments. Once a month we will offer a family with a special needs child a free getaway to make new memories that will last a lifetime. As we grow, we plan to expand and use a portion of the rental income to build a third treehouse that will be used 100% for these special families.
