Pelota Place is a beautifully remodeled 1,252 square foot property with front and back outdoor patio areas. The condo lives like a house, as it is a one level end unit with no one above or below. With the aid of designer Laura Zlot, the complete remodel was finished during the fall of 2016. Using midcentury modern design elements, the décor, furniture and fixtures of this condo are quintessential Palm Springs. Mountain views can be seen from the great room/living room, both bedrooms, and both patios. As an end unit, the condo has extra windows for extra light, which is further enhanced by the recent addition of clerestory windows in the great room. From the moment you enter the unit, you will feel a sense of well-being and that your vacation has begun.
The great room is spacious, bright and airy with high ceilings, and opens up to the southwest facing back patio. It is the perfect place to kick back after a day at one of the 6 pools and spas or a game of tennis all just a short walk away. The great room is decorated with vibrant color, designer furniture, a flat screen TV, and beautiful art (including a piece by legendary Palm Springs artist Shag).
This condo consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master suite has a California king size bed and flat screen TV. There is a large en-suite bathroom and plenty of closet space. The master suite opens up onto the back patio. The second bedroom features a queen size bed and is beautifully appointed and opens up onto the front patio. There is good separation between the bedrooms.
The kitchen remodel boasts custom cabinetry built by a local cabinet shop, vibrant orange quartz countertops, and sleek appliances. Inside the cabinets you will find multiple sets of dishes and glassware, as well as an array of small appliances and gadgets for creating a gourmet meal. The dining area just off the living room has a table with 6 Eames Eiffel dining chairs, and the table expands to seat 10. There are two patios, each with a dining table should you eat outside. The front patio includes a new gas Weber grill.
The unit includes a washer and dryer, as well as a one car garage.
Time Warner Cable service is included with over 200 channels, as well as wifi service.
The Sunrise Racquet Club is a gated community in central Palm Springs, complete with 6 salt water pools and spas. The complex has 7 tennis courts including a stadium court. The adjacent clubhouse contains 2 racquetball courts. The property consists of about 44 acres of common area with ponds and waterfalls all adding to a sense of serenity.
