Summary: We loved Fleur du Soliel - the best place we stayed on our tour in South Africa. The rooms were spacious, the decor stunning, staff very friendly and helpful, a lovely and peaceful outside space, and the breakfasts fresh and fantastic. Also, within easy reach of the restaurants in Franschhoek. The only slight negative, and this is not Fleur du Soliel's fault nor unique to Fleur du Soliel, is that even when booking via hotels.com the bookings are routed through Nightsbridge, a South Africa room booking platform and require a balancing payment to be made to Nightsbridge. For visitors from the UK, Nightsbridge is a pain to deal with as very many UK credit card companies won't allow payments to be made to Nightsbridge.
